Cloverdale basketball continues winning ways

The Cloverdale Clover boys and girls basketball programs continue to have successful seasons with the CHS girls sitting with a record of 17-4 and the CHS boys at 11-4 as reported in the Spencer Evening World on Jan. 25.

Since their Jan. 9 win over West Vigo, the Clovers lost a heartbreaker to Cascade, 79-73 in double-overtime. Since that time, they have picked up wins over Sullivan in the WIC crossover game, 54-42 and over Rockville Jan. 23, 39-36.

The boys team, since their win over Owen Valley on Jan. 5, has racked up three more wins. Cloverdale defeated North Putnam, 77-67; Clay City, 76-57; and Cascade, 72-42.
