Cataract Vol. Fire Dept. Chili Supper is scheduled for 6 p.m. till all is gone. There will be chili, hot dogs, desserts and drinks. Freewill offering. Come one, come all and bring a friend.

OC Homesteaders meeting will take place at the Salt Cave, 115 N Madison St, Ste. B1, Bloomington, at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for the Salt Cave. We will only be in there a few minutes to make sure everyone gets a chance to go in and enjoy, learn. We can meet over at Bloomingfoods in front of the store (if weather is not freezing) and finish up meeting. The store is just across the street. There are chairs and tables out front.

Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department will be holding their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Robe- Ann Park at 10 a.m. Ages 1-11 years old will have the opportunity to hunt for Easter eggs filled with toys, candy, and redemption tickets for prizes! This is sure to be an egg*cellent family outing you don’t want to miss!

One Stitch at a Time Quilt Club at 10:30 a.m. at the Putnam County Museum. Quilting lessons and Quilts of Valor information will be shared. Call 765-739-6101 with questions. Everyone welcome!

Gleaners Food Giveaway will be at the Greencastle Armory from 10-11:30 a.m. for seniors 55 and older. You must be a Putnam County resident. Bring ID for verification and eligibility. Bring your own boxes. Food giveaways are always on the second Thursday of each month.

Cloverdale Masonic Lodge is serving a country breakfast 6-10 a.m. Three miles west of Cloverdale on Robert Weist avenue. Everyone welcome.

Season opening of Hope’s Way recreation center for children with special needs and their families. Hope’s Way is located just east of Bainbridge, Indiana and has provided free recreation for families from over sixteen counties for the last seventeen years. Activities include, a free picnic lunch, pony rides, hay rides, stage coach rides and tours of our western town. A free Teddy Bear Picnic is held every third Saturday of each month from April to October. Lunch is served at 12:30 activities follow. These activities are open to all families with children who have special needs. There is no age limit. All are welcome.

This season Hope’s Way’s beautiful grounds will also be available for outdoor and indoor country weddings. Income from these weddings will help fund activities at Hope’s Way. For a small fee, Hope’s Way is also available for birthday parties, youth group activities and church parties and school field trips. Please call 765-522- 5566 for more information.
