Free April computer classes at PCPL

Putnam County Public Library will be offering two computer classes in April. The computer classes being offered are lecture classes instead of their usual hands-on classes and are designed to introduce patrons to the internet. Registration began on April 1.

On Friday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Introduction to the Internet will introduce patrons to search engines, browsers, and some of the best websites on the internet.

On Friday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Safety and Security on the Internet class will discuss safeguarding your privacy and keeping your computer and information secure while using the internet.

All classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited. Classes are two hours long with a break. To sign up for any of the upcoming classes, you can view the library website at PCPL21.org, call Mike at 765-653-2755 Ext. 118, or stop by our circulation or reference desks at the library.
