Eminence Festival scholarship, applications due May 1

The Eminence Harvest Festival is a celebration of Eminence, encouraging camaraderie in the community. The Harvest Festival committee is grateful for the support received to ensure successful celebrations and wants to express their appreciation by awarding “Step in the Right Direction” scholarship to a deserving member of the Eminence community.

All residents of Adams or Ashland Townships and/or 2018 seniors of Eminence Community Schools are eligible to apply. The $500 scholarship will be awarded to someone pursuing, but not limited to, trade school, college (two or four year), military, entrepreneur.

You will need to include an explanation of how the scholarship will be utilized, your work history and/or community service and two letters of recommendation.

The scholarship is a reimbursement scholarship. Funds are distributed upon submission of qualified expense receipts (books, tuition, room and board, and/or equipment and supplies).

Applications are available in the Eminence Community Schools guidance office and at eminence.harvestfest.com. All applications must be received by May 1, 2018. Applications will be accepted in the Eminence Community Schools office (please give to Becky LaFara) or mailed to:
