Cloverdale Farmers Market opens May 12

Cloverdale Farmers Market is scheduled to start Saturday, May 12, 2018. We will have special hours for our first day. Hours will be 8 a.m.-2 p.m. We will have flowers for children to plant to the first 25 that day. We will also be giving away seed packets to the first 50 shoppers, as well as a basket full of goodies donated by our vendors. We have also opened up spots to crafters outside the 25 mile radius for the day.

With regular hours 8 a.m.-12 p.m. every Saturday through September. The Farmers Market is located 302 S. Main Street in Cloverdale. It is in held in the grassy lot south of First National Bank.

If you grow your own produce within a 25 mile radius of Cloverdale you are welcome to participate in our market. Our market is a producers market, meaning no produce bought for resell is allowed. A small fee of $25 for the season or $10 for a one-time setup. Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs and canopy if desired.

The Cloverdale Farmers Market also welcomes homemade arts and crafts. We do limit the number of same type of crafts. Craft slots filled already for this year include body care items, woodworking, primitives, dog treats and t-shirts. No flea market items allowed.

Vendors must follow all health department rules and acquire needed permits to participate.

We always have room for locally grown produce and plants.

We are encouraging community organizations to get involved this year. We welcome girl/boy scouts, church groups and sports teams to get involved. If you would like to raise some money for your group, we welcome you. For more information on how you can get involved, contact Amy Hunter at Cloverdale farmers market1 @gmail.com. Our market may look small but we have loads of variety. Make sure you stop by for weekly giveaways and specials.
