Silver Lining Players find new home

Still taking new members

The Putnam County Museum has invited the Silver Lining Players, a new senior readers’ theatre troupe, to call the Putnam County Museum their home.

Sandy Steinem, who represented the group, said, “the meeting was wonderful and I will give a full report at the next meeting.” The group will meet at the Putnam County Museum every Monday, with their next meeting being held on Monday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will not meet on Memorial Day.

Meetings are always open, and any senior interested in developing and performing script-in-hand plays for nursing homes, community spaces and schools is welcome.

As Humphrey Bogart once said, “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
