Local students win scholarships from Endeavor Communications

(Courtesy Photo) As part of its continuing mission of giving back to local communities, Endeavor Communications recently presented $4,000 in 2018 Cedric Ray Memorial Scholarships to four students at Cloverdale High School.

The winners demonstrated exceptional scholastic achievement and reside in the Endeavor service area. Kathy Morgan of Endeavor, presented each college bound student $1,000 for them to use toward continuing education tuition costs.

The winners were Nick Smith, who plans to study aviation and become a pilot; Lisa Hess will be entering a history program; Anne Williams is pursuing a degree in nursing; and Taylor Goss sees her future in agribusiness.

“Brilliant young adults bring such enthusiasm to Cloverdale. Endeavor strives to partner with our youth and are privileged to support our community,” expressed Kathy Morgan, Customer Engagement and Media Relations Coordinator.

Cedric Ray was an outgoing and generous spirit who exemplified service and giving back to one’s community. We are proud to honor Mr. Ray, by supporting educational opportunities of our youth through these scholarships.
