Silver Lining Players find new home

Still taking new members

The Putnam County Museum has invited the Silver Lining Players, a new senior readers’ theatre troupe, to call the Putnam County Museum their home.

Sandy Steinem, who represented the group, said, “the meeting was wonderful and I will give a full report at the next meeting.” The group will meet at the Putnam County Museum every Monday, with their next meeting being held on Monday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will not meet on Memorial Day.

Meetings are always open, and any senior interested in developing and performing script-inhand plays for nursing homes, community spaces and schools is welcome.

As Humphrey Bogart once said, “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
