Vacation Bible School at Cloverdale Church of Christ

Excavate, Discovering the Treasures of Jesus will be the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School at the Cloverdale church of Christ. Sunday, June 3 will be the beginning and it will end on Thursday, June 7. The time will be from 6-8 p.m. each evening.

Our VBS theme verse tells us, “For the Lord does not see as man sees: for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart,” (I Samuel 16:7). This archaeological excursion will take the students into a deep study of what makes them truly valuable.

In the same way archaeologists look for valuable treasures that others have left behind, often hidden under layers of dirt and rubble. Though much of the world only sees a pile of debris and dirt, archaeologists have the ability to look deeper, knowing that something better is hidden beneath. By digging into and clearing away the dirt and debris, archaeologists uncover the hidden treasures for everyone to see.

Join us as we dig deeper into God’s Word to discover the treasurers that help us live closer to His will.

Bible classes for all ages including adults will be available. All area children and adults are encouraged to take advantage of this time to study God’s Word.

Materials are all free and there will be no collections. For more information or transportation, you may contact the church office at 765-795-6233.
