Clover athletes compete in girls track regional

Junior Chelsie Edwards just missed earning a trip to the state finals in the 800-meter run. Edwards finished fourth with a time of 2:24.11, with the top three moving on.

Cloverdale sophomore Mackenzie Stoltz qualified for regionals in two events, the 100-meter hurdles and pole vault.

After the preliminaries, Stoltz was a number two seed in the 100-meter hurdles final with a time of 16.20. Stoltz, however, took a tumble after hitting a hurdle in the final, finishing eighth with a time of 18.93.

Stoltz also competed in pole vault where she finished ninth with a height of 8-6.

Fellow CHS sophomore Kaya Daub also competed in pole vault for the Clovers. Daub also vaulted a height of 8-6 for an 11th place finish overall.
