Buckets bloom in downtown Cloverdale

Cloverdale’s downtown looks a little brighter with the blossoming geraniums and marigolds. The Cloverdale High School Horticulture students (and FFA members) planted the cheerful containers from flowers they grew themselves in their greenhouse. Mr. Kaufman, their teacher, lent a hand in reviving the soil.

The class members “dug in” weeding out the old plants and prepping the soil. Everyone can enjoy a burst of color as you drive by or stop. The town of Cloverdale benefits from their green thumbs and hard work.

Endeavor Communications purchased the plants from the FFA Greenhouse and donated them to the community with the statement, “These young people brighten our community and our future.”

Students in the pictures are: Chris Kaufman, Kacey Shedron, Gabby Roberts, Sarah Baker, Maci Jones, Shelby Nees, Dymond Foster, Tiarra Shepherd and Jada Stine
