Hazelwood annual fish fry, tractor pulls and more

The Hazelwood Community Association will be conducting our annual 63rd fish fry on June 21, 22 and 23. Just two miles west of I-70 and State Road 39 in the little town of Hazelwood at the southern tip of Hendricks County.

The food and fun begins Thursday and Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 4:30 p.m. with great food, rides provided by the Wabash Valley Shows, vendor tent, live music each night.

All the events on the track are free to watch.

Thursday, June 21, the Tri-County Garden Tractor pulls at 7 p.m. with Joe Glover as entertainment.

Friday, June 22, at 6 p.m. the adult, male and female, pedal pulls with cash prizes. Children’s pedal pull at 6:30 p.m. Heavy-weight horse pulls at 7:30 p.m. Scooter ball run will be 30 minutes after the horse pulls. Bring your scooter and enter the races. Burn-out following the scooter ball run. 6:30 p.m. the Mill Creek Bluegrass Band will perform.

Saturday, June 23, at 5:30 p.m. the tractor and truck pulls will begin. Children’s pedal pull at 6:30 p.m. Jester will be entertaining at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m. at the park.
