(Courtesy Photo) It was a great day at Putnam Park Road Course for the Cloverdale FFA Alumni Track and Tractor Show.

Over 50 people took rides in high performance sports cars at top speeds reaching over 150 mph. Several antique tractors were also on display with awards going to Justin Vaughn and his 1955 Super 66 Oliver with Best Paint; Jacob Parker and his 1952 John Deere G winning the People’s Choice Award; and Best of Show honors going to Clyde Stringer with his 1949 Farmall and plow.

When asked how old the plow was Clyde stated “Oh Lord I don’t know how old that thing is, I’m sure it’s older than the tractor.”

All proceeds benefit the Cloverdale FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund.

If you would like to donate contact Rachel Goss, Dale Grove, Rob Paris, Michael Nees, Amy Pennington, or Jane Huge. Donations can also be sent directly to the Putnam County Community Foundation, attention to the Cloverdale FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund.
